Shipping and Delivery
Because of the fragile nature of our products, our manufacturers have developed specialized packaging. Most orders are shipped via UPS Ground. Since most of our lighting is made to order directly from the manufacturer, shipping times can vary. Some items can take up to 8 weeks to ship. Some items, including light bulbs, may be shipped in multiple containers.

Payment
Most of our lighting is made to order directly from the manufacturer, so we require a 25% down payment when your order is placed. Orders accompanied by a check, money order or credit card are processed immediately. Please allow at least two weeks from the receipt of your order for delivery unless you are notified otherwise. Some products may take up to 10 weeks for delivery. Order cancellations before delivery will result in foreiture of the 25% down payment.

 

RETURNS

General Return Policy

Although shopping from a catalog is convenient, we know it can be difficult occasionally. Our success is based on exceptional customer service and superior quality merchandise, and your satisfaction is important. Therefore, within 30 days of the receipt of your order, you may return for a refund, less a 25% restocking fee and the initial shipping cost, any lighting fixture or related product that has not been used, is in its original box and is in resalable condition. The fixture cannot have been installed or modified in any way, must be enclosed in the original box with sufficient packaging material and have an A.R.S. tag issued by Lighting for the Home on the returned box. The item must arrive back to us in the same condition as when it was purchased.

Why does Lighting for the Home have the 25% restocking fee? The majority of Lighting for the Home’s products are directly shipped from each individual manufacturer. Therefore, when an item is returned, it must be sent back to the manufacturer. Every manufacturer charges a certain amount for item(s) returned back to them, usually for 20% to 50% of the cost and up. Because of these charges, we pass on a portion of the fees to our customers in the form of a 25% restocking fee, which helps us recover some of the loss we experience as a result of a return. We understand that returns are sometimes necessary; however, we hope to encourage our customers
to plan their purchases carefully to help avoid the return process.
